Storage behavior

Choose whether PhotoMerge indexes metadata only or keeps its own copy of originals.

Metadata only when possibleSmallest footprint. PhotoMerge stores an index entry and thumbnail, and streams originals from the source when available.Copy originalsKeeps a full copy of every imported file so your library survives changes in the source account. Uses more storage.

Detect duplicates automatically

Run hash and EXIF matching after every import.

Media already copied into PhotoMerge stays in your gallery.
